A familiar environment in a comfortable mountain home near the beautiful Cotopaxi National Park, located only 2kms away from the south entrance in the protected área, it is 400 meters from the panamerican highway, into the quiet, large and beautiful landscape. We have a marvelous view of the north and south peaks of Illinizas and the marvelous Cotopaxi Volcano.

We are very happy to receive you in our property, you can arrive before or after your visit to Cotopaxi.

CHECK IN: FROM 2 PM CHECK OUT: Until 10:30

In agreement with the policies of Cotopaxi National Park, tourists may enter in the protected áreas until 3pm

FROM NORTH – BY CAR

In your own or rented vehicle it is very easy to arrive, if you are arriving from Quito or another place in the North we have two points of access easily identifiable

1. Later after crossing a bridge and continuing on the highway for 1.5km you Will encounter a gas station (P&S), from the same direction in a few meters you Will see a sign that indicates the quickest way to Cuscungo H&L, continue for a few meters on the only road to arrive a Cuscungo máximum time from the panamerican high way is 2 minutes)

FROM SOUTH – BY CAR

At the south entrance cross under the vehicle bridge, later enter from the right, and after coming to the first roundabout take the first right and cross over the same bridge. When crossing the bridge you have two easily accesible options:

1. Exit the panamerican highway from the direction Norte Sur after encountering the gas station P&S, from here continue a few meters and enter the next road on the right, there you Will meet a sign that indicates the location of Cuscungo, continue a few minutes and arrive at the hostel.

WALKING FROM NORTH

If you are coming on public transport you can stop at the P&S Gas station and walk a few meters in the South direction, and eventually come across a sign indicating the location of Cuscungo.

Later continue on the only route approximately 7 minutes and then arrive at our property.

WALKING FROM SOUTH

You can tell the bus driver to let you off at the zone of the town El Chasqui at the top of the pedestrian bridge closest to the bus station. Later you can stay at the small pedestrian bridge and cross from the other side of the Panamerican highway and arrive at a sign indicating you to the direction of Cuscungo. (máximum time walking 15 minutes)

If you are coming by bus we could manage a transportation from the entrance of the National Park to the hostel this service is included in the accomodation that it means it is for free, but we need to set your arrival time for to arrange with our drivers.
If you are coming by your own car also we’ll very happy to provide you information maps or directions.

To arrange the best and most economical way, or free, for you to arrive safe and sound at our hostel.

If you are coming from the Latacunga bus terminal we can recommend you another option; you can take a bus from the company LASSO (green buses), which have signs that indicate to EL CHASQUI, this route takes around one hour, but the advantage is that you Will be dropped off at the entrance of CUSCUNGO and you Will go through various Andean villages where you can take time to appreciate the economic and cultural activities of this region. $1.00 from Latacunga, the buses leave every hour ( Monday to Saturday)

TRASPORTATION SERVICE

We can also organize and reserve private transportation for you from which location you need; Quito, Banos, Latacunga, Quilotoa or others.

In the same manner we can manage your transportaion from the destinations most important in this región of the country. The cost is for vehicles. if you are coming with more Friends, you can share the price.

There is frequent transportation from the destinations such as Quilotoa Loop (Sigchos, Isinlivi)

LUGGAGE STORAGE

WE also offer services for luggage storage, you can leave your bags for free and after return to retrieve them, or we can coordinate for an additional cost to send your bags to the location and hour you indicate.
